Librarian Liaison Program

E-mail Print PDF

The librarian liaison program ensures that each academic division or administrative unit has a personal library contact. Librarian liaisons are responsible for facilitating communication and responding to each area's need for library materials and services.

Contact your liaison librarian with any questions, comments, or suggestions about library policies and services.

Collection Development

Liaison librarians are assigned responsibility for building and maintaining Herrick's collections in certain subject areas. Purchasing decisions are influenced by input from faculty and students, within the parameters of Herrick's guildelines for the collection of library materials.

We encourage faculty to submit requests for materials in their subject area.

  • assistance with database searching
  • non-routine, in depth, subject-related research questions
