Leondar Learning Commons
The Learning Commons on the first floor is a non-quiet work space. Technology in the learning commons includes public computers, a printer, and a scanner. Tables and chairs can be arranged for individual or group work.
The computer lab on the first floor (opposite the library's front desk) has public computers and a printer. This room is occasionally used for classes (see the online schedule for times when the room is not available).

Group Study Rooms
Two group study rooms are located on the lowest floor. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Herrick has three meeting rooms that can be reserved by Alfred faculty, students, and staff. For room availability, please see the online schedule.
The HelpDesk is open from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Center for Academic Success
The Center for Academic Success, located on the second floor of the library, provides support services, consultation, and advocacy for students with learning, physical, and/or psychological disabilities. Services for persons with disabilities complement and support, but do not duplicate, the University's existing services and programs.
Recycling containers are available on the ground floor and the first floor. A receptacle for used toner cartridges is located in the BookEnd lounge on the main floor.
